John Morrison award winning and critically acclaimed Johnny Mo is a not only a well trained and creative chef but a worthy musician as well. His name is quickly earning recongnition as "the musical chef" on the East Coast. He's known for coming out of the kitchen and picking up his guitar to entertain his guests. Johnny Mo has a quick wit and his ala carte verses are amusing and entertaining! He performs cooking classes and demostrations often and they are always well attended if not
sold out.
"Rock the Kitchen" is the chefs first cookbook. Not only does the cookbook offer beautiful full color photos of each delicious recipe but also includes a CD of oringinals by the chef himself.
Johnny Mo has made several appearance on Fox 5 in DC, as well as fox 45 in Baltimore, WBOC in Salisbury and recently he was on The Hampton Roads Show in Norfolk, VA.
Johnny Mo is the founder of a benefit called Music for the Hungry. This is all day, family fun event with live performances from bands and musicians, held every July in Onancock. All proceeds go to the Food Bank of the Eastern Shore.

After graduating from Johnson and Wales University he worked in the Princeton area. He found his way to the Eastern Shore and fell in love with the water and nature that are both boundless here. In less than five short years he has opened three Mallards locations, each with a different dining concept.
You can experience mouthwatering steaks grilled to perfection, the finest seafood and velvety sauces. How about Johnny Mo's ALL CRAB crab cakes, or his famous Mussels in a Jalepeno wine broth and the finest Creme' Brulle ever, to finish off the evening. Whatever you select, which ever Mallards you choose, you will enjoy a wonderful dining experience with excellent service.

John resides in Onancock with his wife and two sons and enjoys fishing and golfing. He is actively involved in the Food Bank of the Eastern Shore.
